This photograph of the moon was taken around 8:30 PM, about six hours before moonset time, in the front of my house. In order to take the photograph I had to stand facing my house about fifteen feet out . The moon was much easier to locate tonight than it was last night due to clear skies all day long. Currently, the moon is at 66% visibility and takes the shape of a waxing gibbeous, the new moon is not far away.
