The moon rose at 7:05 p.m. and will not set until 7:23 a.m. Saturday, September 1. However the full moon began at 9:00 this morning. Below is a snapshot of the moon from my neighborhood around 7:00 p.m. before leaving for the Friday night Shabbat Shalom service. The moon is hidden behind the clouds as it has been cloudy most of the evening.

 

Below is a picture of how the moon appears at Beth Hallel which is more North from my house. This was taken around 9:45 p.m. after church.
