Tonight’s picture of the moon was taken around 8:30 p.m. Again tonight I had to walk down my street about 25 feet to get a visual of the moon. Since the picture was taken about two hours before moonset the moon was in the horizon. I know it's hard to tell in the picture, taken with my iPhone, but the moon is a crescent to the right with about 32% visibility.
