The moon was fairly difficult to find tonight because of cloudy skies. A thunderstorm is forecast for tomorrow which probably explains the cloudy skies. In order to see the moon I had to wait until 12:00 AM (Monday). Every time I checked prior to midnight I was unable to see the moon. I have drawn a picture of the moon's appearance from my neighborhood. Due to cloud coverage photographs of the moon were not clear. The moon appears slightly smaller from the past two days, but there does not appear to be a significant change in the size of illumination. However, it is becoming more difficult by the day to see the moon before midnight.
